Burgas hosted the Fourth Annual Outsourcing Conference and the second edition of the Innovations, Technology & Sourcing Awards.
Two of the prizes remained in Burgas. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov was awarded a special prize for “Dynamically Developing Technology City of the Year”. It has been awarded with the votes of the companies that are members of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BAA) and the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASSCOM). Second in the category “Technological business building of the year” is ranked Smart Center – Burgas, built by the company “Planex”, on whose territory the Annual Outsourcing Conference was held earlier in the day.
“The whole team of the Municipality is dedicated to you and we have set up a public council for the development of the IT and outsourcing industry, whose main task is to provide the necessary information and to assist the potential investors, including the provision of qualified personnel of the industry – human resource, office space, good location, developed infrastructure and administration, working side by side with businesses and universities,” said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov to the participants in the ceremony awards – managers from companies with multi-million-year annual turnover.
