The topic of the business forum was “A Competitive Economy by Promoting Partnership between Local Government and Business”.
The opportunities for providing preferential conditions for the investors in the region, the implementation of educational initiatives for the preparation of local staff for the needs of the business were discussed. Options for expanding forms of interaction with universities and specialized secondary schools in the region were also discussed.
A broad discussion sparked discussion of opportunities to boost the competitiveness of companies from industrial segments in the region through outsourcing and information and communication technologies.
Organized by the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association, the Association of Business Builders and ICT Media, the forum took place in Smart Center Burgas, where representatives of Outsourcing and IT business from the city and the country, the chief architect of the Municipality of Burgas Vesselina Ilieva, Executive Director of Industrial and Logistic Park Stamen Stamov, the Director of “Economic Activities” Ivelina Strateva and the Manager of ICT Cluster Burgas – Petko Georgiev.
